Job Description
Quality Control Engineer
We are currently looking for Quality Engineer Positions with one of the leading Heavy Machinery and Railway Products Companies. The position is to be based in Yangon, Myanmar.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems
- Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
- Generate nonconformance and inspection report to suppliers for rejection resolution
- Track and generate KPI analysis data for review and presentation
- Manage and report the status of open quality points, modifications and retrofit works.
- Compile information related to activities in Mauritius and incorporate them in the Car History Books of the trains
- Conduct and Incoming and final Quality Inspection of the trains
- Quality Department Representative in Mauritius as part of the Commissioning Team
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Engineering ( Mechanical or Electrical)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role
- Good understanding of First Article Inspection requirements and expectations
- Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing process
- Excellent project management skills and strong in analysis techniques and problem solving methodology
- Must be fluent in English or Spanish
